Judy says:
Apache girl, originally named Nalin, which works okay that my painting went on to become Desdemona -- the intrigue
of our creativity, which works pretty damn good -- the minds of creative people grow and affect.
Ranger Rita says:
This was Desdemona before color was added. Judy was experimenting with her new scanner in June 2001, and emailed a two-megabyte copy of her freshly-drawn picture to me. I told Judy that I was astonished at the similarity between this picture and an Apache girl I once knew named Desdemona Hayes.
